Diagnostics/AMR Clinical Case Challenge 2018

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a substantial global health threat, with many pathogens becoming multidrug-resistant. However, education and training on AMR is still poor in many medical schools. The International Diagnostics Centre at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine organized a challenge contest to solicit clinical cases on diagnostics and AMR through a global call for participation. The challenge contest encouraged medical students, trainees, physicians, and others to collect or write clinical cases that can support medical education as a form of antimicrobial stewardship. The challenge contest received interesting clinical cases from several countries and three cases emerged as the top finalists.

Now, the contest organizers at the LSHTM are asking for your vote help select the crowd favorite from the top three finalists! Please read each case carefully and vote for your favorite case. We will give free Sanford Guides to Antimicrobial Therapy to a select number of individuals who vote as participatory prizes. The case that receives the most votes will receive a cash prize. The deadline for submitting votes is 11:59PM GMT October 30, 2018 and the winner will be announced on November 1st, 2018. Thank you!
