Partners Infectious Disease Images Website Survey

Researchers at Partners HealthCare Inc and Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, with support from the National Library of Medicine, are developing a new learning tool, eMicrobes, based in part on users’ experience and evaluation of the Partners ID Images web site (www.idimages.org). E-Microbes will be a digital library to address the difficulties in learning microbiology and infectious diseases, offering an extensive and easily searchable digital library of case information and images that will facilitate learning infectious diseases and microbiology, and serve as an adjunct to other teaching and learning formats.

We invite you to respond to an anonymous survey to describe more fully your use of and satisfaction with this educational resource. The survey is designed to take approximately 5-10 minutes. By the completion of this project, we hope to improve and expand the resources currently available for learning Infectious Diseases.

In accordance with guidelines from the Partners HealthCare Inc., we request your permission to include evaluation data that you provide in reports to the National Library of Medicine and in educational publications. Submission of a survey will indicate your willingness to allow us to use these data publicly. All data and consent forms will be maintained in confidential files and are disassociated from individual identifying information.

Please contact the Principal Investigator, Dr. Rajesh Gandhi, at idimages@partners.org should you have any concerns or questions about the use of these evaluation data.
